Keypeur reads the standard export files of other password managers, entirely on your device: nothing is uploaded anywhere. Count five minutes. The import lives in the extension under Tools, then Import, and the first-run setup offers the same step.

From LastPass

  1. In the LastPass extension or web vault, open Account Options, then Advanced, then Export, and save the CSV file.
  2. In Keypeur, open Tools, then Import, choose LastPass and pick the file.
  3. Delete the CSV file (see below).

From Bitwarden

  1. In the Bitwarden extension or web vault, open Tools, then Export vault, and choose the CSV format.
  2. In Keypeur, open Tools, then Import, choose Bitwarden and pick the file.
  3. Delete the export file (see below).

From Chrome (Google Password Manager)

  1. Open Google Password Manager, then Settings, then Export passwords, and save the CSV file.
  2. In Keypeur, open Tools, then Import, choose Chrome and pick the file.
  3. Delete the CSV file (see below).

From 1Password or Apple Passwords

Recent versions of 1Password and Apple Passwords can export to the FIDO Credential Exchange format (CXF), a richer standard than CSV. Export from the app's export menu, then import the resulting file in Keypeur through the same Tools, then Import view. A CSV export works too.

After importing: delete the export file

Export files are readable by anyone who opens them; that is how every manager exchanges data. As soon as Keypeur confirms the import, delete the file and empty the trash. From there, Keypeur's save prompt will pick up anything that changes at your next sign-ins.
